  16. I have an A500 which I have expanded and accelerated to make it capable of
  17. running internet software and at decent speed. I am running AmiTCP4.0 with
  18. PPP1.45 (registered) although SLIP and CSLIP are available free with the
  19. AmiTCP distribution (a dialup script needs to be used with those). I have
  20. AmigaDos 3.1 and a 250Mb hard disk (the internet software files are quite
  21. large!). Also I am running a Supra 28MHz 68000cpu (which allows decent
  22. speed) over the net. Most of the software you will need is available on
  23. Aminet - and those files are often available through your service provider or
  24. Amiga oriented BBS's.

  26. Your best bet is to find someone in your community already connected and
  27. willing to help you install and configure the software.
