- I have an A500 which I have expanded and accelerated to make it capable of
- running internet software and at decent speed. I am running AmiTCP4.0 with
- PPP1.45 (registered) although SLIP and CSLIP are available free with the
- AmiTCP distribution (a dialup script needs to be used with those). I have
- AmigaDos 3.1 and a 250Mb hard disk (the internet software files are quite
- large!). Also I am running a Supra 28MHz 68000cpu (which allows decent
- speed) over the net. Most of the software you will need is available on
- Aminet - and those files are often available through your service provider or
- Amiga oriented BBS's.
-
- Your best bet is to find someone in your community already connected and
- willing to help you install and configure the software.
-
- Good luck
